DerAlbi
Hi guys, i want to try out a LiveCD of a special Linux version which is based on "wheezy". AFAIK this is a version of Debian. So i used the Debian VM template, added the path to the OS Install ISO and went for it. Now i am simply stuck in the UEFI screen whith no instructions what to do next. I googled around what to do in the "UEFI Interactive Shell" too boot from CD but honestly i just feel lost with this kind of user interface if you can call it that. Its the Debian template.. when i give it the install-ISO why cant it simply start up ? Can anyone help? Quote Link to comment
Squid
Try seaBIOS instead Quote Link to comment
DerAlbi
Indeed. However since i have another issue with a too slow hardware counter interrupt inside the VM here i wanted to try the other Bios and see if the problem still persists. Meanwhile i have confirmed that the APIC-Counter is only 2kHz in both windows and Linux (under SeaBios) which is a no go. Quote Link to comment
