.Apple files Plugin

Featured Replies

Any chance some could make a Plugin that removes all .Apple files?  Or either choose or type in the .Apple files you want removed.

So does this still work if I put these lines in config/smb-extra.conf

Also why doesn't anyone seem to wanna make a plugin to do this, is it not possible?

echo veto files = /._*/.DS_Store/ >> /etc/samba/smb.conf
echo veto files = /._*/.AppleDouble >> /etc/samba/smb.conf
echo veto files = /._*/.TemporaryItems >> /etc/samba/smb.conf
echo delete veto files = yes >> /etc/samba/smb.conf
/etc/rc.d/rc.samba restart

I'm rather sure there's a script out there that does what you want, no personal experience with it.  Try the User Scripts plugin, and check the Additional Scripts thread (has scripts for the User Scripts plugin.  That may be where I've seen it.  The User Scripts plugin can schedule scripts for periodic operation.
