sauvagii
Been getting a lot of errors lately of mixed types but seem to be all pointing to my cache drive (SSD) but the SMART tests are apparently completing without error. I'm working away from home at the moment so not getting much opportunity to look at it unfortunately. This is the current log after a reboot this morning: Quote Jun 7 06:56:32 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1687, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:32 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45367341056 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65539416, root 5, inode 22100, offset 31424512, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot)Jun 7 06:56:32 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1688, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:32 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45367345152 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65539424, root 5, inode 22100, offset 31428608, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot)Jun 7 06:56:32 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1689, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:32 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45367349248 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65539432, root 5, inode 22100, offset 31432704, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot)Jun 7 06:56:32 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1690, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45446725632 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65694464, root 5, inode 22101, offset 30420992, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot-gui)Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1691, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45367353344 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65539440, root 5, inode 22100, offset 31436800, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot)Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1692, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45446713344 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65694440, root 5, inode 22101, offset 30408704, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot-gui)Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45446729728 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65694472, root 5, inode 22101, offset 30425088, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot-gui)Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1693, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1694, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45367357440 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65539448, root 5, inode 22100, offset 31440896, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot)Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1695, gen 0Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS warning (device sdi1): checksum error at logical 45446856704 on dev /dev/sdi1, sector 65694720, root 5, inode 22101, offset 30552064, length 4096, links 1 (path: appdata/Community_Applications_USB_Backup/bzroot-gui)Jun 7 06:56:33 DL-NET kernel: BTRFS error (device sdi1): bdev /dev/sdi1 errs: wr 0, rd 1, flush 0, corrupt 1696, gen 0 After a while, the log just fills up with shfs_write/BTRFS Read Only filesystem errors continuously. JorgeB
There's corrupt files on your cache, since it's a single device there's no way to fix them, so copy everything you can from it (corrupt files will error on copy), format it and restore data. 1 Quote Link to comment
sauvagii
Thanks, did that this morning - looks like it's running OK now. Quote Link to comment
