July 4, 20179 yr during monthly parity check, got a message that disk 5 had 384 errors. parity check finished, and got email saying parity finished successfully ran both a quick, and long smart test. for some reason, they appear to be clean, unless i'm readying them wrong! both attached. even more odd, the webui is showing a pending sector count, but the smart test doesn't seem too can anyone help me sort out this info? it almost seems like the smart test, and the webgui, are reporting on different drives! July 4, 20179 yr SMART looks fine, but that doesn't always mean an healthy disk, I would swap cables with a different disk and if there are more errors on the same disk in the future replace it.
July 4, 20179 yr Author thanks, any thoughts on why the webgui is showing pending reallocations, but the smart report doesn't?
July 4, 20179 yr Author ok sure, screenshot above showing the webgui, and diagnostics attached. thanks for taking the time to help! tower-diagnostics-20170704-1344.zip

July 4, 20179 yr Author the first picture i posted is taken from the main page, clicking on disk 5, and then i took the posted screen shot showing 197 pending sectors?

July 4, 20179 yr OK, I think you mean the 197 next to the pending sector, those are the monitore SMART ID's not the actual values, on the GUI those are below that 197 Current_Pending_Sector 0x0032 200 200 000 Old_age Always - 0 ID - Value
July 4, 20179 yr Author oh wow i feel stupid. thanks for pointing that out. I actually filed an RMA for the drive lol! i got 384 read errors (still unsure what caused that) but then i thought i saw 197 pending sector reallocations. any recommendations for what to do with the drive? you mentioned moving to another slot and monitoring.
