Dual parity question after converting all drives to xfs

Featured Replies

I followed the tutorial to change all my drives from reiserfs to xfs with the rsync command. And now I'm finally done and according to what I read my first parity drive will be valid but the second won't be. The part I'm confused on is would I just add the 2nd parity and start a new parity check? Or do i have to preclear it again or format it? Not sure what the procedure is next after all drives are now xfs format. Thanks.

I assume parity2 is already unassigned, if so just add it back and start the array to begin a parity sync.
