I just noticed that my monthly parity check had 3 errors.  Should I be concerned with this?

I found these 3 errors in the log which seem to be the parity errors

Aug  1 03:37:02 Tower kernel: md: recovery thread: P corrected, sector=2579028048

 

I am running another parity check now.  Any thoughts on these errors.

Any unclean shutdown before this parity check?

Now that you bring it up I believe I did have an unclean shutdown last month.  Would you say this is likely the culprit?

Ok Thanks.  So I assume if my parity check finishes now with no errors then all is well.

If this one and the next ones finish without errors you're fine.
