JonathanM Posted August 22, 2017 Share Posted August 22, 2017 No. Linux guests can possibly use 9p virtio mounts, but in my experience they are slower than CIFS over the internal virtual network. You can allocate space on a drive using a vdisk file and mount that directly to a VM as a physical disk, but the contents are only accessible to the VM and you would need to share them from the VM.
