Ugh, I was so excited yesterday with my speeds, I knew it was too good to be true. I am currently doing a 30g xfer and im bouncing between 10-30 MB/s Any other thoughts? Link to comment
JorgeB
Try again locally to rule out the network. Link to comment

In midnight commander (while the other 30g xfer is still going at a measly 23MB/s) I just xfered a 3g file at 86MB's from disk7 to the cache drive Link to comment
JorgeB
That would suggest a network issue. Link to comment

I also just transfered a file from my desktop to disk7 directly and it went at 60MB/s and the xfer to the cache slowed down to 5MB/s and then went back to 25MB's when the direct xfer finished Link to comment
Popple2000
The 30g xfer jsut shot up to 65MB/s out of nowhere? now its back down to 23 Link to comment

If someone was watching something on plex and it was transcoding... should that affect the xfer speed? I should mention that I have the transcoding going to ram, not the ssd. Could it be an I/O conflict? I am at a loss Link to comment
JorgeB
Don't use Plex, no experience on how it impacts the system. Link to comment
