steiner
Am doing a trial of UNRAID versus FreeNAS and determined that it wasn't much of a contest; UNRAID is fantastic. I am purchasing new hardware and will be purchasing the Server Plus license. Part of my new hardware will include a new USB drive. I see from that I can replace a USB drive once in a calendar year, what is my best option to keep all my current setting yet not use that "one" option when I purchase the key? Thanks. JorgeB
Prepare the new flasdrive, copy the config folder from the old flashdrive, register the new flashdrive. Quote Link to comment
Squid
Going from Trial version to a paid version doesn't count against no questions asked once per year replacement Quote Link to comment

ashman70
Just curious, what features about unRAID met with your requirements that weren't available in FreeNAS, or what did you like about unRAID vs FreeNAS? Quote Link to comment
