Jumbo Frames appear not to work

The issue is with unraid, that is just a fact. My boss has the same version of unraid on his server and jumbo frames don't work either.

In my setup everything works fine with jumbo frames, this includes the unRAID server itself, the VMs and the docker containers. See my example tests in the earlier posts.

You write that you can't ping over 1450 bytes, which is already strange and indicates that other "overhead" is being added. I presume you are running your server bare metal. All my tests are based on bare metal installation.

unRAID without jumbo packets can't do ping -s 1500 -M do because the ping doesn't result in MTU 1500.

unRAID can do poing -s 1472 -M do <ipv4>

IPv6 is only 1452 bytes due to the bigger header.
