2U Server Case and desktop hardware help

Sorry for my ignorance but I’ve never dealt with server hardware before so this is a little new to me.

I have an opportunity to pick up a Supermicro 219-9 case (actually the whole system with a Xeon 5620 - https://www.supermicro.com/products/system/2u/2026/sys-2026t-6rf_.cfm?lan=2 ) for good price, there might be issues with the mobo but I’m more interested in the case.

Anyways, I’m already running an Asrock H97 pro4 with a G3258 with stockcooler and it’s been great, just a typical Plex server running some other basic dockers. With that being said can I take everything I already have and transplant everything to the Supermicro 219-9 case and use the power supply that’s with the 219-9 case? Any concerns with the backplane?

Thanks for the help.

The link says this about the chassis:

2U chassis supports for maximum motherboard sizes - SMC Proprietary UIO motherboards

So you have to take that at face value. You might be able to use standard motherboards, you might not. You'd have to do more research or speak to Supermicro tech support.
