If SMART values are available, it might be possible to set a configurable shutdown-temp, so if a drive go above that temp, the server shuts down. /Rene
June 6, 200719 yr That would be a really nice feature. Of course it should log which drive caused the problem so we don't have to do trial and error to figure it out.

For me, the ultimate is: * at X temp or less, fan speeds = low * at X+1 to Y, fan speeds = high * above Y speed = shutdown I am trying to get a fan bus to take care of the first two items. If Unraid would take care of the third, that would be great. Bill
