The same thing happened to me.  My usb flash drive was getting very hot for some reason.  When i checked it this morning it was completely dead, and i am very appreciative of this thread to help me get back up and running.  How did you find out where to assign what drives?  i am kinda lost at this point.  Also, i think i may have made a backup of my flash drive.  I was following tutorials when i originally set everything up about a month ago.  I am not really sure what to do.
