Hello

I'm new with nas devices and had investigated about the different types of RAID.

I want to build a rather small nas 2~3TB with the ability to recover if a drive fails. but I don't know exactly how many drives I need to buy, also I want to be able to grow in the future.

any recommendations to accomplish this?

    Gaming on virtual machines?

     

    Do you have any hardware like HDD´s, Mobo, CPU, RAM, etc. or are you going to buy everything brand new?
