July 28, 20187 yr Hi guys I want to move all my files from disk 1 4TB to disk 2 3TB. Both are disks on my array without a parity. Then use the 4TB as my parity disk. Do I have to move these files in Krusader or if I use tools and change the array will unraid take care of it for me?
July 28, 20187 yr Community Expert unRAID never moves files except for the special case of moving cache-yes user shares from cache to array and moving cache-prefer user shares from array to cache. It never moves files between array disks no matter what changes you make in share settings or disk assignments. You must move them yourself. There are many ways to do so but if you are comfortable with Krusader that will work.
