Dogy007
Hi, i have the issue that while sound plays my mouse and keyboard freeze in my Windows 10 VM. I used all devices (pci-e usb hub included) sepparatly for a long time before with no issue. I'm passing a nvidia Grafics card through for the VM. The issue only occurs when i have the sound set to a Logitech USB Headset plugged into the same HUB. Not when i have the sound on my monitor through DisplayPort. Unraid Version : 6.6.1 --> Linux 4.18.10-unRAID x86_64 Does anyone have a solution for this`? Link to comment
Squid
On my system, for the little "pauses" I found that isolating cores I found that pinning the emulator process and pinning the vm to a bunch of specific cores (I choose however not to isolate cores for the VM) worked in the majority of cases. Dogy007
I allready had pinned the vm to 8 specific cores. However i tried isolating them now, but it still doesn't work. Now i Also encountered a problem with setting usb 3.0 to 2.0 . The VM wouldn't start with the error XML error: Attempted double use of PCI Address 0000:00:07.0 Link to comment
Dogy007
Update: The Sound and USB input does work if not plugged into the same usb hub. I attached the wireless usb receiver for the headset in a diffrent slot and passed it to the vm sepparatly. But when i clicked update in the VM interface, i got the error : "error: Failed to attach device from /tmp/hotattach.tmp error: internal error: cannot parse product 0xc24a#remove , error: Failed to attach device from /tmp/hotattach.tmp error: internal error: cannot parse product 0xc24a#remove error: Failed to attach device from /tmp/hotattach.tmp error: internal error: cannot parse product 0x2106#remove , error: Failed to attach device from /tmp/hotattach.tmp error: internal error: cannot parse product 0xc24a#remove error: Failed to attach device from /tmp/hotattach.tmp error: internal error: cannot parse product 0x2106#remove error: Failed to attach device from /tmp/hotattach.tmp error: internal error: cannot parse product 0x0aa7#remove" But it did still give the receiver to the vm. but i found this a little bit confusing?
