bdydrp Posted November 16, 2018 Share Posted November 16, 2018 After rebooting my system, i all of a sudden got disk 4 missing. I have changed power and sata cables and still persists. Tried mounting with UD and get the following in the logs: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sdc1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error. Nov 16 18:43:34 Tower unassigned.devices: Partition 'WDC_WD40EFRX-68N32N0_WD-WCC7K1RAS42A' could not be mounted... I did have a FS issue with my cache, so i formatted that and fixed it...... JorgeB Posted November 16, 2018 Share Posted November 16, 2018 Disk isn't missing, it's disabled, diags are after rebooting so we can't see why it got disabled, but SMART looks fine, you can rebuild on top of the old disk, might be a good idea to replace/swap cables before doing it just to rule them out if it happens again.
