Random Unscheduled Parity Checks?

Featured Replies

I'm having issues where unraid starts parity checks randomly, I don't think it's caused by random reboot considering it says uptime multiple days, and is connected to UPS.

parity checks are scheduled to happen weekly, which did happen on Sunday as scheduled.

Could you help me figure out what's happening?

Sunday

There's a current issue with 6.6.5 where if a cron job is scheduled to happen on a Sunday, then it will wind up happening every day  Switch it to be a Saturday instead

thanks!!! that seems to have fixed it, the parity check didn't run yesterday!

Also, thanks for letting me know about diagnostics, I wasn't sure where to start, I'll keep that in mind for next time.
