Good day,

My MB is an ECS H61H2-M2  the ECS website along with a CNet site both show the max ram for this MB at 16GB yet the unRaid info page states double that # at 32GB. I'd love to be able to upgrade the memory but also don't want to spend the cash only to find out I was already maxed out. Has anyone else experienced this?

unRaid reports what the motherboard tells it.  If there's a discrepancy, I'd go with the manufacturer.  Not the first time motherboards haven't been programmed correctly

good to know. thanks.

Unraid probably reports a maximum of 32GB because that is the maximum amount of RAM that your i7 3770 is capable accessing. Since your motherboard only has 2 DDR3 slots that halves the amount of RAM you can install. I have the same issue with a similar system that has an i5 3470. A motherboard with 4 DDR3 slots would allow you to install 32GB.

I had a similiar issue and bought 2x 16gb. long story short, it didnt worked... i bought a new mainboard for 30-40€ and now i have 32gb (with 4 x8gb)
