So I've been having an issue that after some period of up time (at this point <7 days) I go to log in to my server and can't see any of my dockers and a few other things are wrong too... Please help me this keeps happening.

You are having a problem with the flash drive. Probably the USB port it is using is disconnecting. Try another port. USB2 ports are more reliable.

Thanks. Will try...I feel like I remember reading this somewhere b4 but I can't uses a SATA based SSD for my OS drive can I?

Nope.  You must use a flash drive.

Are you able to explain why that is? (Sorry I am a linux dummie) Also is this planed to change in the future? Also is there a chance that the flash drive itself is corrupt? and thank you guys for the help.

Primary reason would be due to piracy.  Vast majority of flash drives have a unique GUID that allows unRaid to only run as a time-limited trial or on the paid version.  Plus, why would you invest say $100 on an OS drive that's only used during boot up.

Sure it's possible (but also unlikely).  You can toss the flash drive into another computer and run the file system checks on it.

 

Generally speaking, USB2 sticks and ports work the best (and have zero performance problems since unRaid operates completely from RAM)

This is the thing that people don't realize when they think they should be able to install the OS to another disk. The OS isn't installed to the flash drive. The archives that install the OS are on the flash drive, and the OS is installed into RAM at each boot.
