Help - Cache SSD shows as unmountable

Featured Replies

I noticed some VMs and Dockers weren't working so I logged into the server and the cache drive doesn't have a file system and cant be mounted. Attached is the diagnostic file, I'll look into getting a SMART report for that drive also.

Mods: I posted a very similar thread the other day without diagnostics, please delete that.

Replace both cables and try again, but cache filesystem might already be corrupted.

I tried new cables and got the errors that I screenshot, the attached log and the same "unmountable" error that I had before.

I am going to lose everything on the cache drive? I've got time tomorrow to replace it but I would rather not lose everything that was on it.

I needed to get the server back up so I replaced the cache drive. I'll look into getting the data off the old drive from the above link. Any additional help appreciated.

My server is back up with a new cache drive but I’m wondering what the best way to make sure I don’t lose my dockers and vms again. Should I move appdata to the pool? Do some sort of backup of appdata? If I add a second cache drive do they mirror each other?

Exactly what I needed, thanks.
