potts.mike started following Dockers Missing, WD Externals Drives?, [Support] Linuxserver.io - Code-server and 2 others

Currently looking at the WD 8TB external drives to shuck. One for parity and one for the Array. Does anyone see any issues with these? Also, can I do the preclear while they are still in the external cases? https://www.bestbuy.com/site/wd-easystore-8tb-external-usb-3-0-hard-drive-black/5792401.p?skuId=5792401

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Code-server
potts.mike replied to linuxserver.io's topic in Docker Containers
Yes, sorry about that. It is the remote-ssh extension. It allows me to open file on a remote machine over ssh. -
[Support] Linuxserver.io - Code-server
potts.mike replied to linuxserver.io's topic in Docker Containers
I am new to development but have this up and running. I am trying to access files on a raspberry pi. With vs code there is a plugin that does this over ssh and works great. How can I get the same functionality with this code-server docker? -

Exactly what I needed, thanks.

My server is back up with a new cache drive but I’m wondering what the best way to make sure I don’t lose my dockers and vms again. Should I move appdata to the pool? Do some sort of backup of appdata? If I add a second cache drive do they mirror each other?

I needed to get the server back up so I replaced the cache drive. I'll look into getting the data off the old drive from the above link. Any additional help appreciated.

I tried new cables and got the errors that I screenshot, the attached log and the same "unmountable" error that I had before. I am going to lose everything on the cache drive? I've got time tomorrow to replace it but I would rather not lose everything that was on it. homeserver-diagnostics-20190326-1319.zip

I noticed some VMs and Dockers weren't working so I logged into the server and the cache drive doesn't have a file system and cant be mounted. Attached is the diagnostic file, I'll look into getting a SMART report for that drive also. Mods: I posted a very similar thread the other day without diagnostics, please delete that. homeserver-diagnostics-20190321-1917.zip

I noticed that my docker wasn't and realized that my cache drive now says it has no file system and is unmountable. All Shares, Dockers and VMs are no longer found.

Did you get this working?
-
The command line did it, thanks for the help Squid.

Let me apologize first if this turns out to be a docker issue and should not be in the general topics area but I could not find the Grafana Docker. I am trying to copy a new plugin to the plugins folder that is located at appdata\grafana\plugins and am having trouble due to permissions.I tried to change the permissions to read/write using the dolphin plugin but for some reason they were grayed out and I could not change them. What is the best way to go about doing this?

I rebooted my server and now the Docker webpage is blank and all the dockers are unreachable. I have attached the system log. syslog.txt

The template wont let me select a different BIOS...
