Case Fans

I'm in the mdst of moving my drives etc to a new case, the Lian Li Armor 50 which has 4 case fans, 2 x 140mm and 2 x 120mm.  I'm having a hard time connecting these fans.  My MB only has 2 connections for the case fans and for the other 2 I have an Antec TP 500W that has two connections that say FAN ONLY but when I connect them to the case fans, the fans don't spin.

Is there a single adapter I can plug all 4 case fans into?  THey are all 3 pin female.  Also I'd like to slow them down to quite them a bit more but I'm not sure what to use.  Is there some type of controller I can use other than the 5.25 external type?

As well I find the Icy Docks pretty loud.  I can definitely hear my server compared to my Antec P180 that obviously didn't have the Icy Docks.

Just a thought, you may not need all those fans, for my system I use no case fans, just the fans in my 4 in 3s, and the processor fan.

The best way to slow down the fan on the Icy Dock is to modify the fan module itself, it would be pretty easy to insert a diode or resistor in to slow it down, but some experience with electronics is recommended. I own several Icy Docks and frankly they are a little weak at cooling with the fan at full speed, so I personally wouldn't slow them down.

I recently bought one of these http://www.scythe-usa.com/product/acc/061/ks01_detail.html, which I'm using with this tower case http://www.zalman.co.kr/eng/product/Product_Read.asp?Idx=367.

The hot swap bays look similar to the Icy Docks. I put one of the supplied temperature probes inside each of the hot swap bays and connected each fan to the controller. The other two probes are mounted inside the case and control the rear and top fan. I'm still experimenting but so far it seem to be working out well. I've set the two "hot swap channels" to 30 deg C so when the HDDS are all spun down, the fans are off. When it gets above 30 deg C, the fans start slowly, increasing in speed as the temperature rises. I'm using the other two channels to contol the case fans leaving the CPU and PSU fans to "do there own thing". One is set to 30 deg C and ticks over slowly most of the time. The other is set to 32 deg C but I haven't yet seen this fan spin up. I've not yet run a parity check or given the HDDS any serious work so can't say for sure how well it'll work out but it's certainly quiet when at idle.
