thegoat3183
Hello all, I am running UNRAID version 6.7.0 currently and I have a 9TB array with a single 2TB parity drive and a 500GB SSD cache drive. I was wondering what the benefit adding a second parity drive would be. I am running UNRAID as a file storage and Media Server if that helps with any advice. Thanks in advance for your input. Squid
With a single parity drive, you can recover from a single data drive failure. If you have two simultaneous failures, you will lose data unless you have dual parity drives. Link to comment
