hey,

 

actually i have

 

- 7700k

- asus q270 mainboard

- 4x16gb ddr4-2400

 

i am struggling with the cores. it is only 4 + ht.

 

if i would go for ryzen, i would have 8 + ht. But i am loosing the igpu for transcoding (most of my use will be directplay, like 95%). i would go for the ASRock Rack X470D4U. do u think it is worth? which cpu will work without issues with unraid? 3rd gen already fully supported?
