August 31, 20196 yr Hi. I've been looking everywhere to try and find the correct options to put in an fstab file to automatically mount an unraid nfs share correctly. I had already given up thinking there was 0 info in the forums (because that's what I get when I simply search for "NFS". 0 results) but just now I found on google the below post. It's not exactly relevant to what I'm looking for but it has "NFS" right in the title. So I must be searching wrong. I've tried the advanced search and changed every setting I could think of but I just can't find any posts about this. I'd appreciate it if anyone could help with the nsf options I should enable but I'd appreciate it even more if you taught me how to fish instead. Thanks, doctapeppa
August 31, 20196 yr Community Expert I have found (and you, apparently) that Google is the best way to search this forum. Using unraid or unraid.net as one of the search parameters will target the forum. I just searched for unraid fstab nfs and there were several 'hits'. Not sure if any will necessary help you... If not, please don't be afraid to start your own topic to see if someone has the answer. (Remember that Linux is much more case sensitive than Windows is...) While there are not a true Linux users on the Forum (from my observations), there are a couple who really seem to have a good grasp of it.
August 31, 20196 yr Community Expert Also, just in case you don't know about it since you are new, I wonder if Unassigned Devices plugin might be useful to you. It can mount network shares using SMB or NFS. https://forums.unraid.net/topic/44104-unassigned-devices-managing-disk-drives-and-remote-shares-outside-of-the-unraid-array/
