Changing Share permissions

Featured Replies

Hey All,

So I've got my UnRAID server all setup and working great. I'm wanting to lock down my shares. When I change the Security from Public to Private and click apply, then done It doesnt change. I've tried rebooting the server, stopped and restarted the array and still nothing..

Any ideas?

Thanks

How do you know that it has not changed?

Private:  No guest access at all, you select which of your users have read/write or read-only access.

You would need to test this out on another computer/laptop..etc..

Post up your Diagnostics file   Tools    >>>    Diagnostics

I would suggest that you might want to have a look at your flash drive and make sure that it is writeable and that the file system is OK.  After that,  shutdown server, pull the flash drive, and run chkdsk on it in your PC.

EDIT: what browser are you using?  IF  you have a second one installed, you might want to try the other(s).
