kod23
Hello everyone, I'm new here and I hope I'm not in the wrong section. I've recently added a cache drive to my unraid server (6.7.2). The drive is a Samsung Pro 256GB SSD. The problem is that it seems that unraid is not counting it. I have 5 SSD in my cache pool and the size is the sum of half the size of each drive. 3 x 120GB SSD 1 x 250GB SSD 1 x 256GB SSD Total: 305GB ... where are those 128GB of the last drive gone? Hope you can help me. Thanks a lot Andrea Edited October 3, 2019 by kod23 Quote Link to comment
JonathanM
BTRFS is "different" when it comes to pool sizes and calculating disk space. Try plugging your numbers into here and see what you get. https://carfax.org.uk/btrfs-usage/ Quote Link to comment
kod23
Hi, thanks for your reply. Unfortunately as per this website, I should obtain a total amount of 433GB. Am I missing a command to expand the cache pool? Quote Link to comment
itimpi
It looks rather as if the 5th drive is not being taken into account. I am sure there is a BTRFS command that can ask for more information on how the drives are being used. Quote Link to comment
kod23
I've found that using btrfs command line, the disk is not really part of cache pool. Quote Link to comment
