NLS
I plan to re-implement unRAID at home (10+ years after I was last using it - unRAID, not home ). I wonder if I can use a "temporary" cache disk (non-SSD), that I already have, so that I can go forward with plugins etc. (I am thinking of using a Zentyal or Nethserver VM for my home server needs) Then after some time that I can get the proper SSD, move things to this disk and also implement cache there instead. Possible? How? Also, since vital stuff is in cache disk for most people AFAIK, is there an "unRAID" way of implementing either redundancy (mirror disk), or backup of vital folders? You can have multiple disks in the cache to give redundancy. You can use the CA Backup plugin to backup files from the cache to the array. Edited October 8, 2019 by itimpi 1 Quote Link to comment
