AdamTroy
Hey guys, I just installed a new LSI card and all the drives show up, except for now they are listed as to be encrypted and its asking for a new encryption key. The drives are still formatted as xfs encrypted so I'm not sure what's going on. Will Unraid try to reformat them if I enter a new key? Or do I just have to enter a new one and start the array? If yes just use the existing key. Quote Link to comment
AdamTroy
Okay so I figured it out. A couple things threw me off. The lock symbol next to the drives was showing "to be encrypted" and also when prompted for the original password, it read "new passphrase" with the repeat passphrase section directly below it. As if asking for a new password. In the end, it really just wanted the og pass to start the array. All good, thank you for your help Quote Link to comment
