tll002 Posted November 15, 2019 Share Posted November 15, 2019 Hello I am building my first ryzen 1000 unraid build and I have come across the ryzen c state power issue. I saw on another post that you just have to put a “—c6-disable” in a file at /use/local/sbin/zenstates. But it doesn’t mention how I open and save the file with the terminal on the unraid web GUI. Can you one tell me the command, I’m a command shell noob. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB Posted November 15, 2019 Share Posted November 15, 2019 You can also disable c-states in the bios, or better yet updated your bios and look for a "Power Supply Idle Control" (or similar) and set it to "typical current idle" (or similar). Quote Link to comment
tll002 Posted November 18, 2019 Author Share Posted November 18, 2019 I can’t find the disabled state in bios, I found where it was suppose to be for my ASUS bios but it’s not their... could you please just help me open the file so I can edit and save the cstate setting?
