New install, no shares. unable to create shares

Good morning,

I am new to unraid. Trying the free version before purchasing. Have lots of testing to do before moving over. 

 

I installed the OS on a stick with the tool (twice now) and able to boot up fine. However, shares are empty. From some videos and such there should be 4 shares already here or something? When i create a NEW share - click save, nothing happens. Log says "Nov 24 08:01:02 vox emhttpd: shcmd (1187): mkdir '/mnt/user/test'
Nov 24 08:01:02 vox root: mkdir: cannot create directory '/mnt/user/test': No such file or director"

 

When i physically go to the box, i see the folder. opened mnt tried to open user and get the same no such file or directory exists. yet when i do an ls i see the folder.

Did you format the drive(s) attached yet?  Post your diagnostics

i have formatted and its working fine. lol. thanks for the assist
