PlGGS
Hi, I recently moved my Unraid server to a new home, and now, when I attempt to connect to it from outside my local network, it refuses the connection and temporarily refuses all connections in general. I cannot seem to find anyone else posting about this issue, so I'm hoping you all can help me out! Thank you! Things to note: I have replaced the cable running to the server I have disconnected all other devices from the network I have restarted both the server and my modem countless times While I normally use an unmanaged switch, I've removed it while trying to figure out what is causing this I've disabled Xfinity's defense mechanisms on the network to no avail Sometimes, it lets me connect for a brief moment before killing the connection Here is my diagnostics zip Quote Link to comment

I removed all forwarded ports except one to single it out for testing, and now it works. So going forward, I'll simply redo each port forward one by one until I find the culprit. ceto-diagnostics-20191211-1712.zip Edited December 11, 2019 by PlGGS Quote Link to comment
trurl
How were you connecting to it from WAN anyway? You don't give any details about VPN or anything. You shouldn't put your server directly on the internet. Your diagnostics link doesn't work for me and it's preferred if you don't link to external sites for that anyway. Attach it to your NEXT post. trurl
I merged your threads, looking at diagnostics now, and just as I expected, you are getting login attempts from all over. Take your server off the internet!!! NOW!!! 1 Quote Link to comment
