Antec 1200 drive cage needed

Featured Replies

Does anyone have one of the original 3-in-3 drive cages that comes with the Antec 1200 that they are willing to sell? The case comes with three of them and has space for four.

Also --

Has anyone successfully disabled the blue LEDs on the 120mm fans?

PM for you.

/Lars Olof

If Lars's offer doesn't work out, I've got several of the 4-in-3 cages that come with the Antec Nine Hundred Two.  I assume they would fit in the Antec 1200 as well.

4-in-3?  I just got the Antec 902 for a different rig, and it comes w/ black 3-in-3 cages.  My Coolermaster Centurion 590 came w/ a 4-in-3 cage and I managed to score 2 more identical cages off these forums to get 12 drives in my 9-bay unRAID case.

Hello ...

I know they aren't used Antec 3-in-3 drive cages, but NCIX.com has them on sale under the part number 30044 (Antec Drive Cage) ...

You might be able to find some on EBay or an inexpensive computer parts supply store knowing Antec's part number ...

Hope this helps,

Bobby

Unfortunately I'm in Canada, and Antec only ships within the USA.

Anybody find an international source for the Antec 3-in-3 Cages for the Twelve Hundred?

As for the LED. You can simply pull up one of the wires in the fan and snip it. Of course you will have to snip one wire per LED. I more or less pulled a wire up with a knife and clipped a small section out and pushed it down. Make sure you only cut one per LED so it doesn't complete a circuit and draw power.

I'm assuming its the same style of LED lite fan as my Cooler Master Cage.
