unevent
Any idea what this might be? I was not up at 2am using ssh and no ports are open to unraid gui. Except for those two entries the logs are clean going back to the 15th. Doesn't look like a hack since only two attempts of whatever this is in almost nine days of uptime. Is this an internal ssh thing or something external triggered these log entries? "kex_exchange..." didn't net much in a search. Thanks Jan 23 02:00:31 Tower sshd[13206]: error: kex_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host Jan 23 02:00:32 Tower sshd[13281]: error: kex_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host Quote Link to comment
Frank1940
I don't have a direct answer for you but I would like to suggest that you Google kex_exchange_identification and read some of the results. Quote Link to comment
unevent
Thanks for a reply. Nothing I do does a ssh connection at 2am and nothing I do has a sustained open ssh connection to be disconnected. Don't even use ssh to unraid - use telnet from inside local network. Will disable it. Quote Link to comment
