January 29, 20206 yr I was coping some files to a share using the binhex-Krusder docker from a remote NFS Share using "Unassigned Devices". During the copy I got an email that said "Unraid Disk 3 error" and when I checked on the systems Disk 3 had a red "x" and was marked as "Device is disabled, contents emulated". I stopped the copy and shutdown the array. The drive was connected using a LSI 6Gbps SAS HBA LSI 9211-8i card. I had just run a pre-clear on the drive the day before and it passed. As I'm still testing things on the array and don't have anything important on it, I followed the steps to rebuild the drive with the same drive. I moved it to a SATA port directly on the motherboard for now. It rebuilt successfully and I plan on copying files to it and then switching it back to the LSI controller next to see what happens. What logs should I be looking in to see what caused the issue? Any other suggestions?
