December 7, 201015 yr Would I be able to follow this procedure on an unRAID server? http://support.crashplan.com/doku.php/how_to/configure_a_headless_client My data is on the unRAID server and I would like for it to be availabe to CrashPlan for backup. The CrashPlan download says it is for LINUX 2.6 - it that compatible with the unRAID 4.6-rc5? thanks

I an many other members have it running on there server.
December 7, 201015 yr Crashplan bumped their version significantly today. I doubt this will affect the install instructions but keep it in mind. I'm certainly having problems with my crashplan+ licence since the update but I think that's a separate issue

I'm certainly having problems with my crashplan+ licence since the update but I think that's a separate issue Good to know. I will take a look at my computers when I get home and see if mine updated correctly. If so it is only a matter of using the buttons I created in unMenu to tar the new install!!
January 3, 201115 yr prostuff, when you say its only a matter of hitting a few buttons in unMenu to update.... what do you mean? Does unMenu manage your unraid's crashplan client software?

To a certain extent yes. I created a few buttons that should be included when you install unMenu. I created a Start button, Stop button, and a Tar button for crashplan. Those buttons make it easy to do what you need to with crashplan so that you don't have to do it from the command line.
