Derek_
By that i mean, can it safely be a sub-directory in another share? I'd rather put it in my "apps" share (Apps/ISOs) which has all manner of applications and whatnot. Is it possible and safe to do that? I can't find a setting that gives me an option to change it. testdasi
Are you talking about the folder that you store your .iso files? Or the iso file mounted by Unassigned Devices? If the former then no, it doesn't have to be a share. There is no option to change it because you just have to move the content of the current iso share to Apps/ISOs and then delete the now empty iso share. Quote Link to comment
Derek_
Hmm... i'm not sure what the iso file mounted by Unassigned Devices is. I followed Space Invaders tutorial. For memory, the VM Manager doesn't give any choice about where it downloads the virtio drivers to. Quote Link to comment
testdasi
Look on the upper right corner, you will see "Basic View" and a toggle. Click the toggle to show Advanced View and you will be able to change the path to where the isos (including downloaded virtio) will be saved. The iso "share" is just a folder. If it's top level then it's a share. If it's under another share then you need to follow the above to change the path. If you are not too sure what to do (e.g. not sure what path to change it to) then just keep it a share. There is no harm leaving it as-is if it's not broken. PS: Unassigned Devices plugin allows you to mount iso file as network share. Edited February 10, 2020 by testdasi 1 Quote Link to comment
