squelch
I've been enjoying unraid, I'm very new to all of this so pardon me if I don't provide enough information. I just set everything up last Thursday and it's all been going great. Unfortunately though it's seeming like just about every day the server crashes. On startup going through the logs I see this pop up as a highlighted error. Apr 19 18:23:25 Leanto kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: Machine check events logged Apr 19 18:23:25 Leanto kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: CPU 4: Machine Check: 0 Bank 5: bea0000000000108 Apr 19 18:23:25 Leanto kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: TSC 0 ADDR 1ffff8168b28a MISC d012000100000000 SYND 4d000000 IPID 500b000000000 Apr 19 18:23:25 Leanto kernel: mce: [Hardware Error]: PROCESSOR 2:800f11 TIME 1587334985 SOCKET 0 APIC a microcode 8001138 I had the "Fix Common Problems" plugin notify me of this "Your server has detected hardware errors. You should install mcelog via the NerdPack plugin, post your diagnostics and ask for assistance on the unRaid forums. The output of mcelog (if installed) has been logged" I have installed the MCELOG but don't know where to find the diagnostics to post. I would love to get this problem fixed. I'm running and AMD Ryzen 6 1600 on a ASRock x570 Phantom Gaming 4 Thanks! Edited April 19, 2020 by squelch Quote Link to comment
squelch
I just found a thread stating to disable "Global C-state Control", I have just done this and will reply if I still have issues. Quote Link to comment
