Need Recommendation For Plug & Play Sata Controller

Hi,

FYI:  ASRock - X370 Killer SLI

 

Looking for a sata controller 6 or 8 ports that just plugs and works. Main sata controller all filled. Last one I bought didn't work.

From what I understand most people buy them off Ebay and are in IT Mode.

 

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.   Thank you!

Look for an 8 port LSI already in IT mode, several are sold ready to use, e.g Art of Server on ebay

Considering buying new because I'm in Canada and have to pay exchange and shipping. Going to workout not that much different.
