Machine Check Events detected on your server

Recommended Posts

I am not sure when this error started appearing, but from what i remember, a year ago, I did not have this error. I have not done any upgrades to my hardware too eversince I got this system running. I have downloaded the "syslog", do I need to truncate any information inside for security reasons?

Anyways this is part of the log that seems to stand out. If its got to do with the RAM sticks, i gotta admit, I did face some booting issues related with the RAM sticks when building this machine because the RAM has been salvaged from old laptops here and there. But I thought I have managed to get it running stable after afew tries of different sticks, as the booting issues has subsided. (But i cant confirm if I had this MCElog error then...)

That said, I do not face any issues on normal day today operation. Just wanted to check and make sure that this error will not cause any worse problems in the future.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
