RedLiz
Hi, I just need a short information. How much storage can you assign to one array at a time? QTS supports 308TB as a storagepool. Thx for the help Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Assuming 16TB as the maximum current available disk size, array capacity can be up to 448TB, larger as larger disks become available. Quote Link to comment
RedLiz
But I need one storage drive, like a Storage Pool in QTS but with more size available then the 308TB. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
That's what user shares are for, they show the data from all the drives where that share exists, basically they "pool" the data from all the drives. Quote Link to comment
itimpi
You can have up to 28 data drives in the main array (plus up to 2 parity drives) so it depends on what disk size you use. The only limitation is that there is no striping so any single file must fit onto a single disk. In addition the cache pool can have up to 24 drives - not sure if you want to count those towards the total space possible Quote Link to comment
