ShadoX Posted June 15, 2020 Share Posted June 15, 2020 I've been having a problem for the last few months where as soon as a scheduled parity check starts I get "Parity disk in error state (disk dsbl)" / "array has errors" / "read check started." emails. The first time this happened i thought perhaps the parity disk was bad, so i moved the current one to the array and got a new disk to take its place. On the initial install I rebuilt everything and it seemed fine, until the same thing happened again on the scheduled parity check some time later. After this time I replaced the Mini-SAS to SATA cable and then rebuilt it again with no problems. Unfortunately this morning I woke up to the same set of emails and seeing disk read errors in the system log.
