June 18, 20206 yr I have just put in an old SSD as a cache drive and I am getting the following SMART health warnings pop up Unraid Cache disk SMART health [199]: 18-06-2020 14:41 Warning [xxx] - write sectors tot ct is 2313651806 OCZ-VERTEX_xxx (sdb) Unraid Cache disk SMART health [198]: 18-06-2020 14:41 Warning [xxx] - read sectors tot ct is 2399328758 OCZ-VERTEX_xxx (sdb) Which I believe is just the total number of sectors written to / read from. Looking at the config I can see the notifications state 197 - Current pending sector count 198 - Uncorrectable sector count 199 - UDMA CRC error rate Which would be things you would want to monitor for a HDD but looks like the codes have been (miss?) used for different attributes on the SSD. I take it I can just untick the options to notify against those codes as it is actually just reporting numbers against code 197/198/199 rather than what the numbers represent?
