cambriancatalyst
Hello all, I’m very new to unraid, been running it for a couple of months. I had plans to upgrade my pc so I stopped my array, shutdown the system through the UI, and dismantled and rebuilt my pc. Now I can’t get unraid to boot anymore. I always load into bios. In the bios my usb drive is listed as the only boot option but when I try to boot from it the screen just sort of flashes and then resumes the bios. motherboard: ASUS tuf x570 cpu: ryzen 7 3700x Can anyone provide support/troubleshooting guidance? I’ve tried setting my usb to forced fdd in my usb configurations but no change in behavior. I can provide screenshots and any necessary supplemental info. Thanks very much. Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
New board is likely trying to boot UEFI only, either enable bios/CSM boot support on the board BIOS or rename EFI- to EFI on the flash drive so that UEFI boot is possible with Unraid. 1 Quote Link to comment
cambriancatalyst
Hi Johnnie, Thanks. CSM boot support did the trick for me. Appreciate your help! Quote Link to comment
