July 21, 20205 yr Set up as a Plex media server, no VM's. although I would like to add a Windows VM. I lose connection to it 2-3 times a day, the drives get random read errors. I connected a monitor to it directly and it freezes often and I have to do a hard reboot. Got the "Hardware problem detected" error once. Ryzen 7 1800X Gigabyte AX370-Gaming (Firmware F40) (I have tried F3, F31, F50) 32G DDR4 2667Mhz Ram Nvidia 970 Nvidia 1660 TI I set up a WD 10 Tb Parity but I removed it during troubleshooting to see if the error was due to to many process running. I have 7 disks in the Array largest is WD 10 Tb and smallest is WD 2 TB 6 SSD Cache pool I downloaded and attached the logs. Very frustrating, I'm still on the trial license and about to give up on Unraid. crimson-diagnostics-20200721-1047.zip

July 21, 20205 yr Author Thanks for the quick response. I looked and there is nothing in my bios about C6. The only thing I saw was Global C-state control, should I shut that off? I looked at the link you posted and read the comments that said it was solved but I didn't see the solution.
July 21, 20205 yr Make sure the BIOS is up to date, the option is called "power supply idle control" or similar, if you can't find it disable C-States globally. You're also overclocking the RAM, respect the max officially supported speeds for your config.
July 21, 20205 yr Author Ok I found the Power Supply Idle control and I set it to "Typical current idle". Then I set my ram "Extreme profile" to disabled and my ram is showing 2133Mhz. I'll try that and see if we got it. Thank again, I'll let you know.
July 22, 20205 yr Author John, My server has been up and running for about 18 hours now, it seems like that fixed the issue. Thanks again!
