hi

All guides i find is that after the array is started, u can delete the keyfile from ram with a buttom.   i cant find this button in main.

Or is it now default so it automaticly removes it?

Thnx in advance

Using a passphrase, there is no file and hence can't be deleted. No button is displayed in this case.

This has changed from older versions (6.7 and earlier), these would store both keyfile and passphrase as a file.

Hi,

I would like to know this also please.

Is the video from Spaceinvader no longer valid?

Thanks.

I forget what the command is but if you read down in the comments of the video someone tells you what you need to do to create a keyfile for backup.

It's really as simple as creating a file called keyfile and writing your passphrase in it... but using the command in the comments is what you want to do.

Top man, thanks!

limetech mentioned on https://forums.unraid.net/topic/70608-video-guide-how-to-securely-autostart-an-encrypted-unraid-array/page/4/ that you just need to create a file and enter the following inside;

echo -n "InsertPasswordHere" >/root/keyfile

I'll give it a try. I really want to get this working with Gsuite.

Thanks.
