Any reason against running btrfs metadata raid10?

Recommended Posts

So I have a pool of 4 SSD's running in RAID5 for data chunks.

It defaults to RAID1 for System and Metadata chunks.

Since btrfs device allows RAID10 for 4 devices, is there any harm to change metadata (and system) chunks to RAID10 instead of RAID1?

Reason: theoretically faster while same protection against single failure.
