Officero
Diagnotistics attached. Last week, two drives were unmountable. I replaced power cables and switched around data cables. Then I ran xfs_repair. Everything ran smoothly, then after parity I had errors on drive 3. Contents became emulated. I rebooted then removed that drive and re-added. Now it's emulated and parity and two other HDDs have errors. This has been an issue two previous times as well. I'm pulling my hair out and think I may need to replace my mobo--perhaps it's a controller issue. Running an Inventec Server System Motherboard LGA 1155 T2380103-Rev A12 C202 chipset. 4 WD 8tbs and a couple HGST 4tb HDDs. Any thoughts? tower-diagnostics-20201014-1648.zip Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
If you already replaced cable it could be a controller issue, if you still have free onboard SATA ports try using those for as many devices as possible, other than that try a new HBA if available. Quote Link to comment
