Genghiskhan Posted November 2, 2020 Share Posted November 2, 2020 Hey team I'm new and a noob I'm looking into setting up a unraid system however I want to make sure everything will work and be ok before I do it and just have a few questions I need a raid card as my mother board doesn't have enough sata ports will this work LSI 3Ware 9650SE-16ML SATA PCIe 16-Port RAID Controller Also will I see much difference in 3gb/6gb Thank you in advance Quote Link to comment
JorgeB Posted November 2, 2020 Share Posted November 2, 2020 RAID controllers are not recommended, look for an LSI HBA instead. 3Gbps/6Gbps not much of a difference for spinners, but some 3Gbps controllers might be limited to 2.2TB. Quote Link to comment
